Dealer Program Instructions


When signing up for the Vara Safety Dealer Program, dealers are provided with the tools and the resources they need to sell successfully. Whether you’re looking to create a high-profit business, or just earn some extra cash, the flexibility of the program is meant to work at your pace and style.

Step By Step:

  1. Sign up for the Dealer Program here. Be sure to provide correct and complete information applicable to your business.

  2. Purchase your Demo Kiosk from the Dealer Shop. While we prepare to pack and ship your order, you will be notified of your Dealer Membership login information and the special features you can now access as a member.

  3. Once you receive your Demo Kiosk and promotional items, begin taking orders from customers!

  4. Each customer’s order is completed one at a time through the Client Items shop. Customer orders must be done ONE-AT-A-TIME to ensure shipping to the right addresses. Do not order for multiple customers and assume it will be sent to individual addresses. 

  5. Individual customer orders will be drop-shipped to their address. Please, be sure to provide the correct customer address when ordering.

  6. Bulk and inventory orders will be shipped to the dealer’s business address on file. Inventory orders include Reach Base units so customers can choose their preferred hand-gun inserts through their dealer.

Before you become a dealer, there are few requirements you should know first:

  1. If you are a licensed firearms dealer, you must provide your 15 character ID number. Failure to provide a correct ID number will place your Dealer Membership on hold.

  2. Listed prices on Dealer items do not include handling fees, handling fees are based on weight and added to the final cart total.

  3. Listed prices on Dealer items do not include tax. Tax is determined by the Dealer’s zip code and added to the final cart total. Vara Safety can ship and sell to Canada.

  4. Orders shipped within New York State are subject (by law) to the New York sales tax of a range of 4% - 8%. Please notify dealers@varasafety.com if you have a New York State Resale Permit for tax-exempt solutions.

  5. Due to the nature of the site, detailed tax-exempt invoices will be provided upon request.

  6. Bulk and inventory orders will be drop shipped to the account address on file. Vara Safety may need to follow up on business verification to complete such orders.

  7. If an ordered item is not in stock, Vara Safety will notify you and provide approximate lead time. Unless you are directed to cancel the order, Vara Safety will hold the order and ship it as soon as the merchandise is available. Orders can be canceled anytime prior to shipping.

  8. Tracking numbers will be emailed to both dealers and customers when orders are shipped.

  9. Customers are responsible for their own return process and can do so by notifying dealers@varasafety.com. Product(s) must be in the original packaging in "new" condition to receive a full refund. The customer will be given a pre-paid shipping label to print and verify shipping transactions.
